Julie Cangialosi, B.S., R. D.
Registered Dietitian

Julie Cangialosi, B.S., R.D., is a Registered Dietitian. She graduated from Russel Sage College in Nutrition Science and completed her Dietetic Internship at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut. She co-authored a paper published in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association in 2003 and is a member of the American Dietetic Association. Julie has channeled her science education into a career as an Associate Director for Novartis Pharmaceuticals. In addition to her aforementioned qualifications, Julie’s love for health and fitness inspired her to become a fitness professional instructing Barre and Pilates classes at Vida Fitness in downtown DC.

In 2011 Julie married James Cangialosi, a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. James and Julie are the proud parents of 2 children, Landon and Elle and reside in downtown DC. As the mother of a “double rainbow” (a child born after two pregnancy losses), she had a calling to give back to her community with her hope that couples no longer have to suffer their losses in silence. Julie has worked with countless organizations including the CADE foundation, Operation Across Nations and her non-profit Operation Little Angel 101: Hope after Loss. She is excited to now serve with NiaImani CHOICES.

When Julie is not championing for her favorite causes she can be found traveling with her family (over 40 countries and counting!), trying new recipes, and taking her children to major city museums and theatre productions.
